Welcome

Deep Rooted Wellness (DRW) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening individuals, families, and relationship systems through trauma-informed, evidence-based care. Through clinical services, workshops, education, consultation, and community partnerships, DRW helps people build healthier relationships, improve communication, navigate conflict, and create lasting change.

What We do:

At the heart of our work is the teaching and implementation of the Repair™—a strategic evidence-informed therapeutic intervention framework designed to help individuals and families move from conflict cycles toward accountability, repair, reconnection, and long-term relational stability.

Why Repair?

Conflict is a normal part of every relationship.

Partners disagree.

Parents and children struggle.

Families experience hurt.

Co-parents become stuck.

Communication breaks down.

Many people believe healthy relationships are conflict-free.

Research tells us otherwise.

Healthy relationships are not defined by the absence of conflict. They are defined by the ability to repair after conflict occurs.

When conflict remains unresolved, relationships often become trapped in cycles of blame, defensiveness, avoidance, emotional reactivity, and disconnection. Over time, these patterns can erode trust, create instability, and impact the wellbeing of everyone involved—especially children.

Most people were never taught how to repair relationships.

They were taught how to argue.

How to defend themselves.

How to withdraw.

How to survive conflict.

Few people were taught how to repair.

At Deep Rooted Wellness, we believe repair is the key... and a skill. And like any skill, it can be learned.

The Repair Model of Care™ was developed to help individuals, families, caregivers, co-parents, and professionals understand conflict differently and build the practical skills necessary for emotional regulation, accountability, trust rebuilding, emotional safety, and lasting relational change.

Because conflict is inevitable.

Repair is learnable.

And when people learn how to repair well, relationships can begin to work again—differently.

"I came in feeling angry, stuck, and exhausted. I thought ##### was the problem, but this process helped me see the patterns I was part of. That shift changed everything. I’m less reactive, and the relationship functions differently now."
